Any
life form moves away
from self-destructiveness in the direction of lifefulfillment:
So, would you hurt this puppy? If no, you have
an ethical inkling to §1: The
threat of self-destructive entanglement is associated with
pain which plants, animals as well as people try to go away from towards the remaining pleasure
of joy.
However, in an almost saturated system overcoming that threat is no
longer a challenge established human and resource management,
marketing and science they can realistically hope to cope with
successfully. This then means that
the intellect can in its essence not be ethical;
it follows another agenda altogether!
The last desperate human
intellectual attempt is usually a kind of
New War:
"Marketing"
then works for
a "good" cause for it, such as with some kind of
"axis of evil", until
management can be put in the hand of the
military
under a general.
According to
Asimov's first laws of robotics in
§1,
the prime ethical consideration, a robot (anything man-made aimed
at man, starting
with concepts)
may not injure a human being,
or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
In the reality of 2003 the world looks as follows:
 |
War was prosecuted by people who in their intellect believe that they
were fighting a holy war.
|
 |
Books and movies about it can't save lives; but they can dramatize
moral and political dilemmas.
|
 |
Based on such virtual experience we think of science as a clean
and logical place, where, with the right skills and Instruments, you can
understand the world in a grain of sand.
|
 |
But what happens when you cross science with a media circus full of
clowns and tricks and gaudy lights, where everything
is for sale and nothing is for real?
|
 |
In 2003, George W. Bush versus Saddam Hussein and Kim Il Sung, the
"eternal leader" of North Korea has brought as eye to eye to the
realization what this could entail!
|
 |
In the context of the War against Terror, §1 is out of the window when it
comes to torture.
|
 |
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas urged Iraq to defend itself
against any invading U.S. and European troops by recruiting thousands of
suicide bombers.
|
 |
More and more people see President George Bush hijacked by hardliners in his
administration, setting the world on a course towards nuclear disaster.
|
 |
The human race has only one or perhaps two generations to rescue
itself according to the 2003 State of the World report by the
Washington-based Worldwatch Institute.
|
 |
Around a fifth of the world's population, live in absolute poverty.
|
 |
The greatest threat is not a " on shortage of land, but a dot shortage of
water.
|
 |
Global warming and pollution is accelerating: Toxic chemicals
are being released in ever increasing quantities, and global production of
hazardous waste has reached more than 300 million tons a year. Compare this
to the 200 million tons of salt humanity uses.
|
 |
About 30% of the world's surviving forests are seriously fragmented
or degraded, and they are being cut down at the rate of about 150,000Km2
a year, almost four times the area of Switzerland.
|
 |
Some 25% of the world's mammal species and 12% of the birds are in
danger on of extinction.
|
 |
Mining consumes 10% of the world's u energy, spews out toxic
emissions, threatens 40% of the world's undeveloped forests but these
effects could be drastically reduced.
|
 |
US defense spending alone (about 26% of that of the world)
could balloon to a whopping $480 billion a year in the next decade and could
produce the amount of collateral damage and costs for getting rid
of outdated systems...
|
 |
The ultimate and very common evil makes
individuals come to insights which are then
distorted in groups managed accordingly: There
are leader who do that with their employees and whole nations with
the tendency of governments to deliberately act against their best
interests. Thus people are made to believe in progress to end up is disaster and war.
|
 |
Folly at this level is not clinical madness or incompetence by deranged
individuals. It is a course of action which is seen as folly by others at
the time.
|
 |
There are indications in 2003 that a Satanist sect in Germany
has put that into the gruesome "anything goes"
practice of group rape to make teenage girls
pregnant, later on followed by a ritual cannibalization of the child.
|
 |
Our civic mind has been moulded by focusing of such failures by the
new class of intellectuals and bureaucrats who pupated and swarmed beneath
the compost heaps of public discussions. By the deadly enforcement of
political correctness, this newly
half-educated, unelected minority has steadily hijacked the
expression of the majority public view.
|
Has evil won on Earth where one side speaks of the "axis of evil" and
the other of the "Great Satan"? Can the cause of all evil,
inadequate knowledge and its application, infect everyone's
mind via the intellect beyond the point of no return to joy?
After humanity has so utterly failed
according to the above facts, our doom seems to be just a matter of a short
time. That argument, however, would immediately inhibit any further
obedience, belief,
hope and love and
thus turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy which
is what the sumptuous intellect is all
about: Dogs break it by laying on their back, offering their throat; how
about YOU?
