The prevailing Reverse Human Resource Management RHRM
A case study triggered by an exemplary experience at a Swiss Multinational Company

When you pursue your project long and deep-rooted enough you are bound to get confronted with your adversary who pursues the total opposite. This happened to me 2005, 24 years after initiating my life project with Applied Personal Science APS®. The opponent this report is about calls himself a human resource manager and I shall demonstrate how he represented in fact reverse human resource management.   

The underlying reality is, that the innate personal I-Power of real people entails three of the ethical aspects §1,2,3,0, B1,2,3,4,5, H1,2,3,4, L1,2,3 (links are in German) related to intuition (a), perception (p) and concepts (c). This is in terms of what we call the mental spine, associated with the 16 state of being in ways that correspond to the one out of 144 principles of life-fulfillment which does justice to a specific human being / collective in terms of their lifefulfillment. You can trust that power to manifest as you can trust a monkey to scratch itself, and pick flees to take the relevant example offered by the reverse HRM champion mentioned.

The above mentioned RHRM-manager declared his company's intention to instrumentalize the sheer intensity of its employee’s I-power to the manager's need. And he vividly demonstrated how for that purpose the prime human resources need to be turned down and side-tracked enough from the innate purpose of the lifefulfillment of those concerned. Referring to an experiment with apes, we were told, humans are better suited to be blackmailed for performing a simple, other-determined task which otherwise also apes can do. Giving this example also lets you appreciate the contribution of behavioural psychology to reverse HRM. In short, RHRM is only interested in the intensity a person has in his or her vested interests, for which a human being is prepared to prostitute his life-fulfillment, at least on the job. Thus RHRM is about optimizing intensity with compensation for the benefit of those in charge, e.g. managers and shareholders.

When politicians work at getting the same performance similarly for all politically relevant human activities, and people have lost enough space to be themselves, the known social risks are provoked against whoever loses credibility first. Then managers get nervous for fear of losing their companies’ location advantage and thus the efficiency with their reverse HRM in getting people and target groups to give them what they need, in order to do what they want.

You can still choose to rather reverse from “Reverse HRM”

and instead opt

for promoting the necessary Human Support-System Management in view of being able to demand the personal Human Resource Leadership sufficient for a desirable, e.g. life-fulfilling purpose as possible.

Consider your hidden agenda towards your fellow human beings and the environment; all you know is wrong, formally embellished, causing stress and is suppressing solutions for sustainable growth, is other-determined, raises doubts and put hindrances to resolve them by referring to what is "in", excusing wasting lives with going along with basic needs and instincts, indulging in illusions to avoid pain striving for lust, beyond any reasonable hope and substantiality, projecting one's manipulation being politically correct, e.g. supported by others except the one in front of you who just argues for more complexity, impotent to love and be loved...

Here are the 16 Guideline for Reverse HRM in view of getting one’s hidden agenda met by one’s fellow human beings instead of doing the right thing to reframe what otherwise goes wrong:
 

RHRM 1: Once you opt for implementing the 1st guideline for RHRM then you have to follow up as follows in order to get the return on this initial investment, save your face and keep the job, and so on. Too bad, if you do not ask early enough for enough compensation for the now increasing risks...

§1-Human Right to express Life > Tolerance for what is WRONG in order to harvest the associated short-term opportunities: The exemplary reverse HRM point of view to instrumentalize §1 is:

We are tolerant towards the diversity of ideas – we do not judge what is right or wrong as long as we need new ideas for our otherwise hidden agenda.

Please refer to your own hidden agenda, and then the psycho-political-logic of this RHRM 1st guideline becomes apparent as long as you can still afford to have second thought...
 

RHRM 2:  You might drop out early and have to face the misery of losing your earning in the HRM-disguised RHRM-world if you don't go along with it. Beware, you need to be tough and ruthless in order to stay on top.

The show must go on, along the following path with or without you...

§2 Right for one’s innate Purpose of Life > Formalizing and Virtualization to allow “anything to go” for those in charge: The purpose of employees has to be formalized for it is easier to apply power with detached forms than against real human beings. That was one of the main inventions which led to the Roman Empire.

Beware, this demeans real people in view of the increasing might of the external evolutionary formal process in collectives. For those who identify solely with instrumentalizing the required Human Support-System Management to satisfy their intensity, say as stake holders, everything becomes an evolutionary process, up to manipulated life forms and wasted lives - hopefully of others to be able to go on on top...

RHRM 3: In order not to be eliminated or overwhelmed as a magician’s apprentice or surpassed by your competitors, you need to make others small to remain big on top of them. So when you set foot on the RHRM merry go round dominated world, make sure you have a golden parachute. As a bystander have some sympathy for those who engage themselves to make the wheels of this word turn – and remember it adds to your intensity for a good life!

§3 Right for Personal Integrity > Causing Personal Stress tot others to force them into sublimation of the real thing for the purpose of passing on personal power to the superior - you: You can now no longer deal with individual concerns from the need to scratch, up to life-fulfillment – employees are paid to overcome them in return for their wages and get on with the job assigned to them.

In the ape-experiment mentioned above, a company got rid of people who performed simple jobs and put apes in their place. Those animals could do the job, but side-tracked much earlier than humans, say after 10 minutes, into their own concerns such as scratching, picking flees and so on.

In consequence those humans who do not conform satisfactorily must therefore be outsourced, say into the social system, to keep the economy going to create the money politics requires to deal with them. However, meanwhile politicians have lost credibility about being able to perform that task to the satisfaction of those concerned with earning the money for them. So politicians must also use their power to also indulge in reverse HRM to save their faces – say as bureaucrats in the EU, or through the RHRM-conditioned PR-consultants of government.
 

RHRM 4: Now you need to  able to generously paying the money and resources asked for by the RHRM-system – for otherwise your are in trouble, on the street without paid work, at the mercy of social security or worse.

RHRM is neither about being human with money nor does it make good business sense; it’s about the power to live one’s intensity, by the profit obtained by making others go along, stupid:

§0 Sustainability > Suppressing indications of the long-term consequences: In the age of globalization the sustainability of companies depends on winning the battle to harvest the intensity of the needs and emotions. The perspective of their satisfaction makes people willing to perform on the job in return for the compensation, incentives and opportunities. On the other hand, as customers they are prepared to pay for what promises to enable them to sublimating their personal needs for life-fulfillment outside the job.

So when an executive needs money to finance, say, a flat for his mistress in Rome, this is of no concern to RHRM as long as he performs, for the company. Similarly at the Time of the Cold War, the Soviet KGB took 10 years from 1948-58 to find a suitable intensity for the sublimation of which the Swedish Colonel Stig Wennerstrom was prepared to betray the top secrets the Soviets urgently wanted. He was arrested in 1963.

 

RHRM 5: By now almost everyone on top is competing for global attention by trying to reverse the HR of competitors – and this leaves more and more people unaccounted for and left to their own devices. Thus a innovation is needed to cope with the danger to the system that people begin to believe in their resources, right up to the point of believing in God again. A consultant of the mentioned company thus suggested:

B1 Beliefs with the potency to change the system, as the belief in Jesus changed Rome > have to be ridiculed and overridden by making enough people sufficiently other-determined to disprove and inhibit the effectiveness of their beliefs: In order to serve the 1Eh1P-1* switched on 5Bm-position power of a company as emphasized by its economics and international relation officer, the senior human resource officer has to see to it that its 2Eh1P-1 3Pe* policy is implemented. This was and still is the job of the Inquisition, the former head of which in 2005 turned into Pope Benedict XVI in view of the Pope’s directives as the seeming representative of God on Earth, e.g. the ultimate man-made power.  That power is now within reach of top managers and for it the strive, as CEO - to also be  President.
* yet uninformed readers may ignore the parameters, for them they are intended to indicate, that we are in a position to make the indicated guidelines operational on life-fulfilling platforms, they provide a reference for the basics used.
 

The Psychology Of Civil Self-Policing And Obedience
again exemplified by the behaviour of apes - where reverse HRM leads to in reversing evolution...

1. Start with a cage containing five apes. In the cage, hang a banana on a string and put stairs under it. Before long, an ape will go to the stairs and start to climb towards the banana.

RHRM 6: Start with an incentive to reveal people's intensities.

B2 Breakthrough > Seeding doubts about having a chance with one’s innate belief: It was the inquisition’s duty to claim the myth, that human motivation is too complex to understand and that any attempt to do it is either a simplification or too complex to handle for ordinary people. This way of curtailing understanding to what is psycho-politically correct, is called pre-trans-trapping; it is the biggest thinking catastrophe and still the curse of mankind as the philosopher Carl Popper has outlined in reference to Plato. By spreading such doubts, any meaningful research into such matters is discouraged; the Inquisition has put literature in that direction on the ‘black list’ and used to execute authors.

Strangely enough this incredible effort in human history against a breakthrough from outdated human systems did not prevent Galileo, the Age of Enlightenment, or the Fall of the Wall in 1989 etc., but it did lead to events like the so-called Titanic catastrophe in 1912 and human catastrophes following the same thinking catastrophes such as the World Wars, the Space Shuttle Disasters, the Grounding of Swissair etc.
 

2. As soon as he touches the stairs, spray all of the apes with cold water. After a while, another ape makes an attempt with the same result - all the apes are sprayed with cold water.

RHRM 7: Make if clear to people that punishment applies under your control independent of their merit and you will find supporters!

3. Turn off the cold water. If, later, another ape tries to climb the stairs, the other apes will try to prevent it even though no water sprays them.

B3 Personal Path > Coercion and Hindrances for those who do not go along: In accordance with this prevailing history of RHRM, Jan Hus was invited to discuss his theses with the Pope in Constance. Soon after his arrival, on July 6th 1415, he ended his life at the stake. On April 18, 1521 it was Martin Luther’s turn in Worms. However, he was saved by the grace of God, and the economic interests of the German Elector Friederich The Wise, in view of Rome’s attempt to cannibalize the Germany economy for the stage on which the Pope displayed his power in Rome. Around 1989 the Soviet system was too closed and its system wardens too senile to notice the impact of Gorbatschov’s attempt to "glasnost" and "perestroika", which eventually dissolved it. The South African Apartheid policy was later on overcome by the imprisoned Mandela. The role model for overcoming the ultimate threat to going along with the personal concern for life-fulfillment, enforced death, was and is Jesus Christ. But nevertheless since then hundreds of millions of people were hindered in fulfilling their lives. One day after our encounter with the mentioned RHRM-champion and his speaker in the mentioned Swiss Multi, the workers of one of their foreign companies occupied it, in view of the closure of that branch of the business; reversing their HR out of service seemingly arbitrarily…
 

RHRM 8: Make sure you become the opinion leader with self-fulfilling prophecies

4. Now, remove one ape from the cage and replace it with a new one. The new ape sees the banana and wants to climb the stairs. To his horror, all of the other apes attack him. After another attempt and attack, he knows that if he tries to climb the stairs, he will be assaulted.

 

B4 Truth > Spirit of the Time: So it remains for reverse HRM to prevent the truth spreading about those few people who overcome the seduction of the prevailing RHRM’ incentives, and where that fails, its power of punishment to streamline people into the 1EhP-1* line. Where this is done at all costs, it is inhibiting 93% of the human resources. The ultimate post-modern weapon against the truth is the spirit of the time. It embellished the fact plainly stated by the mentioned Senior RHRM officer that his kind of HRM cannot and does not motivate people. He himself honestly proclaimed it is better at demotivating them for the above reasons. In short, the spirit of the RHRM-time is to civilize blackmailing people into a mental state of slavery by the well-known incentives and punishments, and by Corporate Identity alibi-exercises, inhuman discussions etc., in the end mobbing and sacking people, imprisoning them as Putin did with Michail Kordokovski in Russia, or simply let the mafia or some extremists kill them.
 

RHRM 9: Make sure you control the education of newcomers and youngsters, so that the number of supporters dependent on you grows. The Jesuits used to proudly proclaim, that if they had access to a child, they could turn "it" into every role desired - and Stalin learnt from them...

5. Next, remove another of the original five apes and replace it with a new one. The newcomer goes to the stairs and is attacked. The previous newcomer takes part in the punishment with enthusiasm.

 

B5 Life > *3-basic instincts and needs: Needless to say the spirit of the time promotes the capability to reprogram life to suit the economy; mother’s milk is unduly replaced by seemingly more comfortable products, natural medicine by pills, seeds by genetically patented ones secured with the ultimate killer gene which inhibits farmers from producing their own seeds, up to designer babies who eventually will make the RHRM’s job easier.

When I addressed someone caught in the spirit of the times about the need to recognize gravity as a substantiality which cannot be manipulated, that person suggested flattening the earth to solve that problem.

Similarly rather than promoting the understanding that the substantiality of real people needs to be understood and they supported in their fulfilment accordingly, most HRM officer have to be reverse, e.g. instrumental in instrumentalizing people – which in the long run does not even make economic sense
 

RHRM 10: Make sure the majority has no hope for a turnaround. So in 2005 people expressed their hopelessness towards the EU, the German's and the Swiss towards their government... 

6. Again, replace a third original ape with a new one. The new one makes it to the stairs and is attacked as well. Two of the four apes that beat him have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs, or why they are participating in the beating of the newest ape.

 

H1 Hope > ?0-Illusions to side-track: Since there are still the odd ones who hope for a higher order to prevail, they need to be criticized and offered nice sounding illusions until they get hooked or disqualify themselves in the eyes of the mob for being “unreasonable”, or overexcited (AD-HD, ADS > Ritalin) or oversensitive (cases for psychiatry – psychopharmacology - self-medicated drugs). Of course the reverse HRM system-wardens themselves need some illusions to maintain their jobs, such as serving the company, which serves its customers, which is good for the economy, stupid! In one of the museums of a former concentration camp, there is a postcard with a content of the sort: Dear Aunty Emma, I am visiting Uncle Hans. His wife’s cakes are superb. It a great joy to have coffee with them on the veranda watching how Germany gets rid of its parasites. With warm-hearted regards, Gertrud and children. PS my husband wrote that they had the first snow in Stalingrad. Uncle Hans happened to the concentration camp CEO – at the entrance of which it said: Let all Hope go… fancy that…
 

RHRM 11: Turn the New Order into a matter of course!

7. After replacing the fourth and fifth original apes, all the apes which have been sprayed with cold water have been replaced.

Nevertheless, no ape ever again approaches the stairs. Why not? "Because that's the way it's always been done around here!"

On the Swiss National Day, August 1, 1997, Federal Counsellor Arnold Koller, member of the Bilderberg society declared against the spirit of the Swiss Constitution: "Switzerland does not need any prophets, neither Swiss or foreigners!"

The Swissair Grounding was 2001 - the then mentioned company's President heavily  involved...

H2 Superior Order > -4 Displeasure for the non-intended higher order: For whoever does not go along with the man-made order, worldly punishment applies – there should be no more horses for discourses. One is called to stop thinking and, as in the armies of the last century, to leave it to the horses for they have bigger heads. Such ideas appeal to people conditioned to simplicity; they can sympathize with the Pope who had to face the theses of that weird and generally unacceptable outsider, Galileo – and the like. After all it took the Vatican 350 years to come to terms with the fact that the earth is not a flat plate and not in the centre of the universe – as RHRM still pretends to be in reference to their subordinates.

Already in 1976, being in the USA, upon receiving a 10 Dollar note, a bus driver told me when faced with having to return the change: “It’s too hard for the brain, go take a seat!” For those who remained smart, torture was the means in all ages to create fear about overstepping the mark and pretending the earth is not flat. The most efficient post-modern torture for real humans who still use their eyes to see and ears to hear, are board room meetings and general discussions in complete disregard of modern ways and means to promote a meaningful exchange and coming to solutions and decisions which make sense for those concerned. We know of CEOs who have up-to-date video conference equipment just to show off, and major companies with licences for the latest group work technology, but hardly use any of it in their RHRM-flattened mental societies...
 

RHRM 12: Meanwhile the human situation gets tight in all walks of life. The buck is simply passed on from economy via the media to politics and vice-versa. Thus the three of them lose credibility. Each seeing the ‘rod’ in the other’s eyes, pretending to thus restore their own credibility by putting down the others and embellishing their own blockage.  

H3 Relating to Reality > +2 Getting pleasure out of what is offered and its added values and making people addicted to and greedy for it: After all the reversing of one’s resources, there has to be some bread and circus; for those with enough money for a mistress in Rome, for the others, access to global reality, online via TV.

However, it is meanwhile apparent that RHRM makes economic sense for it turns on the greed, the motor of economy in itself, the means which has become the god-like end, which requires the RHRM outlined – it’s economy, stupid. Is it really? The more intellectually minded are fed with bestsellers and offered discussions about opinions about reality to keep them away from first hand perception of what is and where we are heading to. Similarly on the Titanic binoculars were forbidden; would have disturbed the high spirit of the passengers…
 

RHRM 13: Now the grey eminences of RHRM are required to come up with a new rabbit out of their old hats. For that they invite people like us with an opposing view. In their arrogant philosophy they hope to get a mutation of their world view, through grilling the ‘opposition’, or a kick by getting rid of it.

H4 Relating to Substantiality > %6 Appealing Projections to overwrite and replace genuine hope: Whoever has not become reversed and stupid yet, and begins to understand cause an effect, just as some members of the KGB under Gorbatschow did, requires to be controlled and in-form-ed. This is done by mass convincing projections, say that the Iraq has weapon of mass destruction, or that understanding cause and action would be a threat to the system which no executive will dare to risk. Thus more and more companies, many of them once famous for best practice and excellence, such as ENRON and Swissair, became closed systems, were cannibalized by their managers under the protection of its RHRM, until their collapse and grounding. Then RHRM takes pride in getting rid of people to increase the share holder value or for a fusion…
 

RHRM 14: When as in the case indicated here, the bluff is called, a desperate dramatization of the increasing impotence to manage human resources in any desirable way gets on stage! And that is usually the last trump of whoever goes along with RHRM. The ultimate weapon is the role model of the 5Rm(1EhP-1)* economic/international “pope-servant”, and the 3Pe(2EhP-1)* RHRM inquisition outlined here.

 

 

L1-Dedication and Love > %5-Manipulation: Genuine dedication becomes the luxury of the poor, while those in power have access to Viagra and other stimulants and possibilities for enjoying manipulation. It must have given the Popes who went to Constance to destroy Jan Hus, and to Worms, to nail down Martin Luther, some sadistic pleasure; otherwise they would not have undertaken the required travel. Dostoyevsky’s Grand Inquisitor gives the RHRM-like justifications of the type of the beneficiary slave master. We have encountered the mentioned Information officer in a childish procedure to reverse our 16 human resources to one HR each. The effort to do so was more effort than an hour. This admittedly appeared bureaucratically to himself, before he “kindly” allowed us one hour to see him and his RHRM-colleague for a presentation. He made sure we knew, they were otherwise terribly busy. When after one hour, the two of them had not fully destroyed the content of our carefully worked out presentation in their mind, they went along another 30 minutes. When they realized that their normal way of civilized blackmail did not work on us, short of physical violence or a heart attack out of anger, the information officer said: “I am sorry, I really have to go now, and this is no lie.”
 

RHRM 15: In the actual encounter which triggered this study, those two roles were dramatized by two correspondingly one-track minded human beings.

L2-TEPOC > Overwhelmingly embedding initiatives with %1 Political Correctness: At this point the window of Timely Exchange of Project-Oriented Competence is almost closed by the above 15 misuses up of missed opportunities, the wasted time and the frustration by the fear of violating the prevailing political correctness by not simply “letting go all hope” and give in to RHRM to save at least one’s face. The %1-excuse we heard was: Your ideas might be very good; yet they sound as if you deserve a Nobel Prize, and we are not ready for that – thank you very much
 

RHRM 15: Whoever want to play the above mentioned ultimate power role, must by all means refuse to switch on his or her HR.

All that is allowed is the cynically reversing competence.

Thus, so called HRM is more and more becoming a civilized, and for people unaware of the RHRM-guidelines, very effective mentally virtualized version of Dante’s hell and the Nazi concentration camps!

L3 Reform, Structural Change > Putting forth Inhibiting complexity against any attempt of redesign is the ultimate defense line against a reform of the prevailing RHRM. The complexity RHRM creates itself for that purpose or simply arises out of its inherent self-destructive dynamics tends to increasingly engulf minds the longer it is allowed. Thus fear rises about what would happen if the “Pandora’s box” of the switched on HR would be opened for self-management towards life- through task fulfillment. That is why the above cited senior HRM officer declared that they had abolished all forms to do with their thing about which he remained secretive. Thus their system is back to square one, encompassing people blackmailed in a “civilized” way into the evolution of cooperate policies made up behind closed doors. The demotivating effect then forces people into technical and economic innovation of the primitive kind. This requires cannibalizing more resources, and in its unreal virtualization creates more complexity and through the associated Social Darwinism, less people capable of sufficiently understanding it all. So less and less people can still cope with the first sign of a system crash. Thus the first warning the Titanic received from a simple merchant ship was arrogantly ignored as well as the first sight of ice...
 

What’s wrong with all of the above RHRM-guidelines and its subtle disguise? If you have the post-modern intellectual virus that there is no WRONG, this question appears meaningless to you. However, that conveys the utter wrongness of RHRM from its onset! But on the other hand, within the RHRM system nothing is wrong whatsoever! So was it under communism an under the Nazis.

Where people live in a false world, in the end every thing goes as wrong as on the Titanic and tends to increase entropy, disorder, into chaos. Once the corresponding mobbing is spread wide enough, and the critical number of real people potent for a turnaround with Timely Exchange of Project-Oriented Competence is undercut, the remaining real people become undesirable, in the eye of the world, false prophets. However, they are not at fault, but the wrong partners for the seemingly prevailing ones. However, without them, managers are at the mercy of their grey eminences in RHRM in the above manner, beyond the point of no return. That happened to King Herodes after he had John the Baptist beheaded. Today's top shots get their golden parachute for that ultimate risk. Should you now be down-hearted, let all hope go and go along, for one dies seemingly easier in a mass. In 2005, at the conclusion of the "Post Case" in Bern, the judge who had to sentence a mob of youngsters for arbitrarily pulling a man from his bicycle and almost bashing him to death, said: Group dynamics does not justify this cowardice in any way.
 

This MentalFit© study reveals to practitioners and researchers who are willing to become mentally fit for the 21st century, the straight forward, rather than the pretended complex interplay of individual, organizational, and issue-specific factors based on the individual's ethical decision makings.

Ignoring the mainstream HRM-bluff  reminds us in its ultimately grim reality of the fairy tale of “Hänsel and Gretel” and “The Emperor’s New Clothes”.

It all begins on a mental level, in meetings. The RHRM this still makes good business sense in the RHRM conditioned world – before it hits companies and their managers home.

With RHRM spreading like a virus, it becomes more difficult to get hold of the right people and switch the relationship with them on. However, one point is still holds; businesses can still be made easier, when personal relationships are in place.

In conclusion, the above mentioned implications for future investigations, training, and the influence of contextual information, e.g., organizational climate, human support-system management in view of personally owning one’s human resource leadership, have to be implemented in an operational way on life-fulfilling platforms.

On the other hand the reverse HRM community resorts to further discussions to assure each other, that “one” is not ready yet for any improvement. In fact there is no improvement from the present state of RHRM in its last attempt to maintain what failed in the last century. It is in a state similar to Nazi Germany after Stalingrad, where in a last, desperate and cranky effort the SS, now so-called HRM managers appease their “gods” with more human sacrifices. In in case of WWII, that last effort from 1942-45, by all reasoning a meaningless effort, took more lives than all those lost from its onset in 1939. Then it seemed that with killing Hitler this tragedy could have been prevented.

Where the RHRM philosophy is solidly engrained in the leading senior manager’s heads, then largely cranky old men with their cohorts of yuppie upstarts and decorative assistants and secretaries. They mix up life and task-fulfilment with false loyalty and research with trend riding and power games, spoilt rotten to keep up their intensity.

Until the human resources they have access to has been harvested down to the bottom dollar they can throw away many more opportunities for life- through task fulfilment

It raises the question of becoming mentally fit for at least a protective firewall against the indicated deadly mental viruses ant their ultimate invasion of the mental territory in more and more heads. Reversing reverse HRM, from illusions and chaos to live- through task-fulfilment is our dedication. And YOU have now been pointed to the alternative to go on mucking about with a stick in the fog of RHRM black art terminology
